Local Attorney Constance
Burnett Renzi Named by Peers as one of the Leading Lawyers in Illinois
Aurora, February 17,
2006 –
Attorney Constance Burnett Renzi, Managing Partner for the Elder Law Center,
P.C. in Aurora, was recommended by her peers as one of the top lawyers
licensed in Illinois. Ms. Renzi was recommended in the practice area of
elder law.
Law Bulletin Publishing Company, through its
Leading Lawyers Network division, conducted an extensive statewide survey of
Illinois lawyers asking them “If you couldn’t take a case in your area of
law, to whom would you refer a family member or friend?” Only those lawyers
who were most often recommended by their peers in one of 82 areas of law
have achieved the distinction of being a Leading Lawyer. Lawyers could not
nominate themselves or lawyers at their own firm. In addition, the rigorous
research methodology eliminated the possibility of lawyers being selected
through a popularity contest. “This is a very strong list of the state’s top
lawyers,” said Scott Anderson, Director of the Leading Lawyers Network.
The Elder Law Center,
P.C. is the original provider of elder law resources in the western suburbs
and Ms. Renzi assists clients with all forms of Medicaid/long term care
planning, estate and probate proceedings and guardianship. She focuses on
advanced planning that can eliminate problems before they arise and fast
solutions for unexpected problems when they do occur.
Ms. Renzi is a Past
President of the Illinois Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law
Attorneys, Inc. and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law
Attorneys. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, a Past
Chairperson of the Association's Elder Law Section Council and a co-editor
of the Elder Law Newsletter. She is also a member of the Kane County Bar
Association, and has served as a board member for several charitable
organizations.
Ms. Renzi is a frequent
lecturer for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education including
topics such as review of basic Medicaid eligibility rules and planning
techniques. Ms. Renzi has also lectured on elder law topics for various
other groups including the Kane County Bar Association, Local Alzheimer's
Support Groups and various other community groups.
The Elder Law Center,
P.C. is affiliated with the law firm of Mickey Wilson Weiler Renzi &
Andersson, P.C. in Aurora, specializing in Real Estate, Local Government,
Municipal and School Law, Corporate Law and Civil Litigation including
Sexual Harassment and Personal Injury.
Ms. Renzi received her law degree from the
University of Illinois College of Law. |
